Presenting the MING 37.11 Odyssey!

The sports GMT is a popular but challenging genre to address - its appeal is in its utility as both a travel companion and as a watch you can go anywhere, do anything with. The challenge is in reinterpreting the genre and bringing to it the same consideration, refinement and design language that made the 37.09 Bluefin a winner. Luckily for us, MT isn't one to shy away from a challenge and so it is our pleasure today to present our first sports GMT: the MING 37.11 Odyssey.

Thanks to grade 2 titaniums physical attributes, the Odyssey also happens to be our lightest sports watch yet at just a hair over 42 grams for the case. With a case architecture shared with our Bluefin, the Odyssey also retains the rotating dial but now in smoked sapphire, bidirectional and with 24-clicks for 24 timezones. And for anyone planning to swim across the English Channel and wanting to set their watch right at the moment of crossing timezones, the dial can be set underwater. Lume abounds on this watch - from the MING Polar White indices, to the luminous crown, to the orange-blue day-night indicator, and - for the first time ever - a gradient lume treatment for the hour and minute hands.

We struggled to agree on a strap pairing for the Odyssey, so we offer it in three flavours:

The Odyssey will be available to order from tomorrow, 11 November at 1PM GMT. We are only making 150 watches across all variants for this year with deliveries starting in 2-4 weeks for the strap and bracelet variants and in 12-15 weeks for the Polymesh variant.

Prototypes of the Odyssey and the Polymesh will also be on display at Dubai Watch Week which begins on Wednesday, 19 November. Do drop by our booth to say hello to the team and check out the collection!

Thank you,

Team MING
