Today, we are pleased to present our latest Special Project: the 20.01 Series 5.
Inspired by science fiction - a fertile ground for details, visuals, forms and creative thinking - it’s also a theme that speaks personally to Ming Thein (MT) and the team. The 20.01 S5 is influenced by a decades of science fiction influences - from The Fifth Element to Star Trek and more - and our continuous drive to do something new.
Speaking of innovation, our AgenGraphe powered chronographs have served as the launch platform for new dial technologies - like the world’s first laser mosaic in sapphire, and lume-filled fused borosilicate. The Series 5 is no different as it features what is likely the industry’s first dial with a complex radial pattern and interlocking surfaces in three dimensions - all laser milled from a single block of titanium.
It is completed by our 20-series case with flying blade lugs, the renowned Agenhor AgenGraphe in an exclusive execution for MING and indices in our signature MING Polar White luminous material. Like its siblings, the MING 20.01 Series 5 will remain rare as we’re only making 25 watches, with each priced at CHF 37,500, excluding taxes. Our website will open for orders tomorrow, 24 June at 1PM GMT and you can also find watches at our authorised retail partners.
